Dr. Larry Gainsburg

Practice Limited to Neurology and Neurosurgery

Dr. Gainsburg has over 40 years of Neurology and Neurosurgery experience. He has amassed numerous hours of training and education throughout his residency in Neurology/Neurosurgery, followed by his successful completion of a Neurology/Neurosurgery fellowship.

In addition to his academia accomplishments, Dr. Gainsburg has worked alongside his peers doing research and has co-authored many articles and publications. This combined with his expansive years of owning and managing a neurology practice, as well as years of general and emergency veterinary medicine, combined experiences is what he will bring to VNIOC, giving our patients and their owners, expert neurological care.

Dr.Gainsburg performs all neuro surgeries and procedures except surgical implants/stabilizations. His brain surgery is limited to superficial brain tumors not so much gliomas but he is interested in expanding his surgery skills.

When not practicing medicine, Dr. Gainsburg loves to spend time with his four dogs, his cockatoo and his family. He enjoys photography, cycling and reading. His goal is to learn how to play his saxophone.
