CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR VETERINARIANS
Veterinary Neurology & Imaging of the Chesapeake is committed to ongoing education for its staff and its referring veterinarians. For the last 20 years, we have committed over 40 hours per year of continuing education programming in the mid-Atlantic region.
Below are some of the upcoming opportunities, many of which offer CE credit.
Lunch & Learn
Our veterinary neurologists are pleased to provide this free continuing education opportunity for our regional partnering veterinary practices. Our neurologist will provide a 30-minute presentation and discussion about a topic related to veterinary neurology for your veterinarians and technicians.
Recent topics have included seizure management, paralyzed dog diagnosis & treatment, and vestibular disease. We will do our best to accommodate requests so please let us know what you'd like to learn about!
This in-person learning opportunity will be accompanied by lunch provided by VNIoC.
Annual CVRC Fall Conference
Sunday, October 25, 2026
We’re proud to have been part of this highly successful continuing education conference for many years, which is provided free to all veterinarian attendees and provides seven (7) hours of Continuing Education (CE) credit.
Dr. Jay McDonnell will be speaking on Clincal Pearls from the Neurological Exam. This will provide practicing veterinarians with a practical update on the neurological examination, focusing on a hand's-off approach, and offering pearls from a practicing veterinary neurologist .
